i poked around to get a stripped down synth in JSFX and
finally i got the ownsynth.jsfx
and the then ownsynth II that has a chorus
a version with sine, saw, tri and square waves, filters (hipass & lowpass,
each with resonance) and an sub for adding lower octaves
and a sup for adding upper octaves and a dialable pitchbend range and a clipper
and selectable channel count making it somehow a mono or poly instrument
as mono it has a un-nice release, as poly you get one osc per note and time
those effects (hi lo pass..) will also run without the waves,if anyone needs such stuff in mono
a demo using this last version is here (tilr made the drums and reaverbate the reverb)
or this with more filtering, drums are from a looped sample
and a demo using the ownsynth II
and then i made two fixed value choruses (think of the technical implementation in the Roland Juno's)
i bet mine are sonically far away from those chorus_I chorus_II a demo using those
this video shows twiggling the synth's parameters and the result as oscilloscope visualisation and audio
the synth was played with a single midi note. to get something more valuable you will
have to deal with midi note length, parameter modulate the filters , add rooms with delay
reverb and colour with chorus and others... bla...
a demo with the first version(very little pimped with reverb and delay)
and one with the filterwise better version, slightly pimped, drums from tilr
